Glass half full or half empty?

From the last few days, I've seen people taking care of others, I've also seen people abandoning others because of the disease, I've seen people with belief, also seen people losing hope, I've seen people wearing masks and following precautions, I've also seen people who were spitting on the road, some are suffering from the disease and some are suffering from the "Actual disease" which is lack of humanity, knowledge and kindness. Many of us have spent the last few months sitting back, subject to a rollercoaster of information that has switched between supporting our hopes and occasionally verifying our fears.  There have also been several disappointments as the dates for the virus's extinction have passed us by—  summer, rainy and winter seasons — while the infection continues to spread. We straddle a dilemma between optimism and pessimism, trust and doubt, in the way we acquire information. Optimism refers to positive future expectations, whereas pe...

Change the world for good

It was inevitable. I suppose

"The 2020"

It all started from watching news of spreading virus in China to there is no effect in India yet to there are few cases in the colony to we've tested positive to loosing our loved ones to coping up with the loss. This year has made us realise how one persons actions can really change the world.

The more  we give our time or resources to the issues we care about, the more others will give in return. In that way , one persons actions can really change the world for good.

Altruism is contagious and if you are figuring out how you can make a difference, take it one day at a time. You may not always see how you impact the society, but every thing you do to promote change can add up overtime.

But meaningful or effective change isn't always instant nor it is in large scale  real impact can take months or years, and making the world a better place often means bettering it for few people at a time. Every time you change just one persons world, you're starting a butterfly effect with the potential to improve lives for generations to come. That could be done if we start talking about it, thinking about it ,finding solutions about it .

As a interior designer I'm here to put my views on the different aspects of design . We will start changing the world by taking one step at a time, that is by discussing from climate change to materials we use in interiors, sustainable design and more.

So let's all endure through the design way

Love,

Varsha
